- Old English Sheepdogs, auch Bobtails genannt, sind Hütehunde,
mit einem liebenswürdigen Charakter. Sie sind trotz ihres Aussehens
Arbeitshunde. Ihre Familie betrachten sie als ihre Ersatzherde,
die sie hüten und in der sie sich wohl fühlen. Unsere Ziel ist
es, diese Charaktereigenschaften zu bewahren, dafür züchten wir.
- Unsere Priorität gilt dabei der Gesundheit der Rasse, dem Wohlergehen
des Hundes, dem Glück des Welpenkäufers und am Ende der Ehre des
Züchters oder dem (nicht vorhandenen) finanziellen Gewinn. Manch
einer mag diese Reihenfolge genau umgekehrt sehen . . .
- Old English Sheepdogs (Bobtails) are herding dogs with a fantastic
character. Although, they look like big snuggle bears they are
capable to work and they consider their familiy to be their live
stock they have to herd and protect.
- To maintain these characteristics is our goal. The priorities
are the health of the breed, the welfare of the dog, the happiness
of our puppy buyers and at the end the honor and the financial
gain (which never happens) of our kennel. Some might see the order
of priorities just the other way around . . .

- Ausstellungen und Titel

- Bobtails findet man häufig auf Ausstellungen. Für Viele ist die
Jagd nach Titeln und Erfolgen zum Lebensziel geworden. Andere
gehen niemals auf eine Ausstellung. Für uns ist der goldene Mittelweg
die Wahl. Auf Ausstellungen stellt man sich dem Wettbewerb und
der Überprüfung der eigenen Nachzucht durch Zuchtrichter. Doch
das Gewinnen um jeden Preis und mit allen Mitteln ist nicht unser
Ziel!

- Shows and Titles
-
- OES are very frequently seen on shows. Some people are addicted
to success and titles. Some never go to a show and consequently
don't know were they stand with what they have produced. For us
the "golden" middle is the preferable choice. However, winning
with all means and to the expenses of other people will never
be our goal!
